In order to cut down on no call/no show interviews, Poached BackOffice sends an interview reminder and confirmation notification to the job candidate through their communication preferences (text or email) when an interview is scheduled through the Interview Scheduler.
When an interview is scheduled at least two days in advance, Poached BackOffice will send a reminder via the applicant's communications preferences (text or email) 24 hours before the interview time. The reminder requires no action from the applicant; it's simply a reminder of the scheduled interview including the interview time and a link to the interview in the applicant's Poached account.
In addition to the reminder notification, Poached BackOffice sends a confirmation email two hours before the scheduled interview time, but only if the interview was scheduled at least six hours in advance. The confirmation notification does require the applicant's action: they will be asked to confirm or cancel their attendance. This is meant to give the applicant and the interviewer more communication and help decrease no call/no show interviews.
If an interview is scheduled to take place less than six hours from when it was accepted by the applicant, the applicant will not receive a notification. The invitation to interview will serve as a reminder and confirmation.
