When and how do I reach out to Stripe?

Learn when you will need to reach out to our payment processor partner, Stripe

Stripe is our trusted partner for processing shift payments. Since Poached and Stripe are separate platforms, there may be occasions when you need to contact Stripe Support directly for assistance with your Stripe Connect account. For your security, Poached only has access to limited account information on Stripe for viewing purposes.

Poached Support is unable to assist with the following requests:

  • Receiving the Stripe 6 digit verification code
  • Adjustments to your banking information
  • Updating your personal information
  • Disconnecting your Stripe Connect from your Poached accounts
  • Adding additional information that was skipped, yet needed to complete Stripe setup
  • Assisting with ID or Selfie image uploads
  • Assistance with editing or obtaining NEC- 1099 document for tax reporting

It is important to note that all payments for all Poached Shifts will be processed through the Poached app, using Stripe. Poached does not accept or payout through any other forms of payment, such as checks, money orders, or cash.
